The Condition
Bucki has progressive cancer. She was in a hospital in Oklahoma City for some time, and now has transferred back to her ranch.
Does she want flowers?
It is her wishes that in lieu of flowers, donations are made to the Joe Howard Williamson Ministry (website below) . This is a vital ministry to Bucki, and has provided great encouragement over the years.
A Poem
Yes, Heaven is a perfect place.
I can't wait to see His face.
There is one answer, I must know
Will I announce or can I show?
We will not use the 5 judge system
We'll leave the results all to His wisdom.
It will be easy to announce
Every name I will pronounce.
A score of 80 is what you'll get
Someone will question that - you can bet.
When my friends ride to the herd
You won't hear from me one bad word.
The question I have you may know
Who will win the cutting show?
If a score of 80 you will make
We'll get to cheer, for Heaven's sake.
The best horse to ride is one you trained
It won't be wild, it will be tame.
With a score of 80 we'll feel lucky
But there's no way that I'll beat BUCKI!
Yes, Heaven is that perfect place.
I know up there I'll see your face.
